Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl)
Katherine Heigl portrays the role of Isobel Katherine Stevens or more commonly known as Izzie. She also works as an intern in the fictional hospital of Seattle Grace Hospital. She is friends with other interns that stars in the show. She began to doubt her career when she came across the case of Denny Duquette, portrayed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Denny was her fiancé who eventually died due to a very severe disease. Izzie developed a romantic relationship with her friend George during the fourth season installment of the show. She was also linked with Alex, another intern in the hospital, who is also their friend. During the 100th episode of “Grey’s Anatomy”, Izzie marries Alex after she had a successful operation for the removal of her tumor.
Katherine Marie Heigl portrays the role of Izzie in the hit show “Grey’s Anatomy”. Heigl was born on November 24, 1978 who began her modeling career when she was a child. She was one of Wilhelmina models before she was noticed by producers for her acting skills. Her debut film was “That Night”. Her acting career began to bloom and was featured in the television series entitled “Roswell” where she palyed Isabel Evans. Her other projects includes the movie “My Father the Hero”, “Knocked Up”, “The Ugly Truth” and “27 Dresses”. Heigl married on December 2007 to Josh Kelley.
